A Happy Housefull

I have wonderful 15 minutes of quiet for the moment. My brother and sister are down this weekend from Aurora which is absolutely awesome. I don't get to see them much these days because they're both in college and I confess I fail miserably at venturing too far from home. Six months ago I kept telling myself it's because I always had to work weekends seeing as how I was managing a restaurant. But even now that I have a normal 8-5 gig, I still haven't been up that way in ages. Instead my wonderful siblings took it upon themselves before school break was over to come and spend a weekend with their big stister (intentionally spelled that way).

Currently my Aurora sister is out and about with the Lowell sister and my someday stepdaughter. They should be home soon enough for dinner though because I let them know potatoes are on the stove boiling to soften for mashed. James took my brother and my other someday stepdaughter into town really quick for charcoal and when they return they will be preparing steaks on the grill. Gotta love 50 degrees in January! Lena is down the street at a birthday party that I will need to fetch her from here shortly.

It's been an awesome weekend so far filled with lots of siblings and this morning a mountain of waffles.
